Please follow the following steps to learn how to choose your UCI classes and register for the classes you wish to take this SPRING 2016 quarter!!
STEP #1: Read the document to learn about UCI class registration for this coming spring quarter.
Note: If you already took a UCI class this fall quarter, please GO TO STEP #3 directly.

STEP #3: You should receive an e-mail from [email protected] about the ONLINE "Course Preference Form". Make sure you finish reading the PowerPoint slides AND the document named "Recommended UCI Courses for SPRING 2016" before submitting your form by the deadline!

STEP #4: What happens after you submit your ONLINE course preference form?
1) WAIT to receive an e-mail from your IUPP Counselor telling you which classes are OK for you to take this spring.
2) GET READY to go to your UCI classes starting on MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2016:
- Check your UCI e-mail everyday for updates.
- Check your class schedule and room location on UCI's WebSoc: http://websoc.reg.uci.edu/perl/WebSoc.
- Print enough copies of the UCI Access Enrollment Form (1 form for each class). Below is the copy of the form and a sample if you do not know how to complete the form.

ARE YOU TRAVELING HOME OR TO ANOTHER COUNTRY DURING YOUR BREAK?
If you plan to travel this December, you must complete the following steps before you do:
1) Contact your IUPP Counselor FIRST to schedule a meeting for an approval. You must bring your completed Travel Request Form to the meeting.
2) Watch the following video about traveling outside the U.S.:
- Click here if you are viewing from your Computer or Android device
- Click here if you are viewing from your iPod or iPhone device
3) Drop-off and pick-up your I-20 for a travel signature according to the Travel Workshop Schedule. You must bring the following documents with you to get the signature
- Your Travel Authorization from your IUPP Counselor
- Your completed and signed Travel Request Form
- Your I-20
- Your Passport and Visa

Personal Statement Resources for Students that Attended the Workshop
When you submit your Personal Statements, please use the following format:
- Title on top of the page (i.e. PS 1)
- Your name and word count (also on the top of the page)
- DOUBLE spaced, 12pt font (go to paragraph setting in word and under "line spacing" choose "double")
- Only submit MS Word (.doc) files
The title should look something like this: PS1 (476 words), Xiaojuan Yang (Stacey)
Your counselor will be emailing you soon with when/how to turn in your personal statements.

How to Register for the SAT Exam
If you are not sure how to register for the SAT College Admission Exam please look at the following document. Remember, register early to get the closest testing location. If UC Irvine is no longer available as a testing center, choose any of the neighboring cities. Check with Google Maps before you register for any tests outside Irvine.
